Google Buzz is soon completing its 1st month since it came live on 9th feb. This 1st month on Google Buzz for me was quiet interesting and I am sure it is same with you. We learned so many things, engaged with hundreds of new followers and explored this new Google gift for social media community.
Here I came with some 20 Bad and Good About Google Buzz . However, Google Buzz team is working hard to make buzz more users friendly and privacy controlled but till now there are no major changes came into the stream.
10 Bad Things About Google Buzz
- Inbox Overflowing: my buzzes and daily emails make my inbox heavy, million times.
- Jumping to Google Profiles: Can’t see profiles of people in same window (inbox), it jumps to Google profiles. its is bothersome to land on new window to see profile. They should come up with mini-profile thing with every buzz user.
- Where Is That Buzz Gone?: So many tweets makes me sick of buzz sometimes. Good content often get ignored on buzz because of over tweeting.
- Mute, un-mute: Can’t find back all muted buzz to make it un-mute again. Any idea about this?
- Mentions: “@” tag should work same like twitter; it works only for people in connection. This is only thing lacking while having long discussions.
- Robb Me, I am not at home: Google buzz on mobile is a serious security threat. Read this wonderful article by Mike Elgan.
- List of Favorite Buzzers: There is no such option to make list of people whom I want to keep up with. My favorite buzz users always get hided.
- Popping Up Old Buzz: Old and unwanted buzz often jumps up which is annoying. I replied weeks before in one buzz, suddenly it came up again. Mute is an option but there should be something better than that.
- Buzz to Facebook? Still, no facebook support for buzz.
- #tags: Search by tags is missing I miss this.
