Just few hours back Google has added a new feature including in Google Bookmark, known as Google Bookmark Lists which will not only help you to bookmark your favorite website but you can also share the list of your bookmarked content with your friends. So is it another social bookmark feature like other? No, not exactly but something really interesting and useful.

You can use this feature in two ways, if you want to bookmark any particular website, see “Manage All” from Google toolbar and click “Copy to list” the content you bookmarked is now copied to the list. See the image below:

Another way to use this feature is from http://www.google.com/bookmarks, click “Copy to list” and “go to “Create new list” add all the details. Don’t worry, all lists are private by default but if you wish you can share it to specific person or friend of yours. See the screen shot below

This can help you share common interests and activities with your friends. Example; if you are passionate for science and technology, than your friends can suggest you their favorite sci-fi websites too via their bookmarked list. Google Bookmark Lists will also help you to discover new web content.Like, once you’ve created your list of favorite science related websites, Google will algorithmically analyze your list to identify other potentially relevant links.

Though the service is still in its experimental stage as told by Christina Chen, Product Manage.Goo I think it is worth trying. What do you think about this another smart social media tool?
