Slideshare is a popular application on social networking site Linkedin which allows user to share webinar, artist portfolio or whitepaper. Often people wanted to share vidoes also on Linkedin easily as they share their slides and documents. Now onwards users can share videos also.

Slideshare co-founder and CEO Rashmi Sinha told that slideshare is now embraced with video format. It is very simple to use, just upload your file and you can share it with your network. Videos of your friends can be found in their respective profiles. If a user connects his Linkedin account with slideshare account then his video will be available at both sites.

To survive in competition it is a necessity for every social networking site to have at least similar features and application available with the other site if not more.

Rashmi also says that they will be working to embrace any other video format gaining popularity in future to their application.

How to upload videos to LinkedIn

It’s the same method of uploading you are already familiar with. Install LinkedIn’s SlideShare app and then go to the Upload page.

Once the video is uploaded, you will be directed to a video page, from where you can share the video on LinkedIn, Twitter and other social networks in the same way that you can do with presentations.

Charles Darwin’s law of evolution “survival of the fittest” is universally applicable and hence is applicable in business of social networking also.
