Writing is an art. Not everyone is a born writer. Some develop their skills as they grow up whereas some learn to excel this art in every possible manner. A blog post reflects your thoughts, your art, and your way of getting involved with readers.

It is a must to make your posts interesting, easy to read and understand keeping in mind that web is a place for all. It’s possible sometimes that a non-English person might be reading your post. If he/she enjoys reading it and understands what you are trying to describe, you become the real champ.

For instance let’s consider a common man enjoying a beautiful painting by a renowned artist. Yes, it’s true that the common man might not have knowledge of the art yet there is something which pleases everyone i.e. colors. Hence, even the common man becomes an admirer of the art. So is the case with your post. Using easy to understand words and sentences can you help you win admiration.

In my opinion following tips can help you write an interesting blog post. Yes, it’s “in my opinion”. Opinions vary from person to person. Everyone has a different perspective of thinking but you enjoy it when you interact with such people.

1. Giving your article a good start

The first and the foremost thing to do is to have a unique, catchy and relevant title. Select a title such that it also summarizes your article. Next thing which comes up is to start your article beautifully with something new and different.

Avoid beginning your article with sentences like:

“As I mentioned in my previous post…”
“Yesterday I informed you about…”
“In my last post you read about…”
“We have discussed a lot… ”

This kills the interest of reader. This is not a problem for your regular readers and subscribers. But, a person visiting your blog for the first time and reading your post will definitely get confused. Either start with something new or be to the point about what you are going to write.

If you feel that mentioning previous/older post(s) is important then you can mention them later on using proper headings/titles. Make sure that they appear separately and not in the middle of a sentence or paragraph.

2. Using images:

If you think images are not so important then let me tell you, you are wrong. Pictures speak more than your words and put a great impact on the readers. Using images relevant to your article is a good practice. You can also use images to bring out sarcasm.

If you are using images from someone’s personal gallery or flickr streams then always pay credit to the owner by giving the link back or ask for their permission if required.

In case, you can’t find proper images then avoid the use of images. Or if you are good at drawing / Photoshop you can draw and put your own. Adding a beautiful and relevant quote as an image can also add to the charm of your post.

Use as much of images/snapshots as you can while writing Tutorial/How To articles. This makes it easier for the reader to grab your statements.

3. Encouraging Discussion

Use commonly known words and short sentences. Avoid using unnecessary words, formation of long sentences and paragraphs.

Incorporating a few questions in your article can help you engage your readers. Ending up with a question can be used to encourage discussion and getting in touch with your readers. This would help you understand what your readers like and dislike about your posts. In future, you can use their views and opinions to improve your way of writing

Using questions in Tutorials is a very good idea. This makes your readers understand your article in a better way as they come to know what you are going to talk about in the next section.

4. Proper division of long articles

If your article is lengthy then you must divide it properly into as much paragraphs as you can, keep it well structured. Even short articles can be divided into a number of paragraphs.

This division gives your readers a freedom to skip the part they don’t find interesting or useful. Also, it adds to the convenience of readers as they can have a quick look at your article and get to know what you are talking about.

Giving proper sub-headings to the paragraphs while writing reviews/opinions and a tutorial is a good practice.

5. Concluding your article and giving it a final touch

Ending the article is as important as the beginning. If you were not able to give it a good start then try your best to conclude it in a better way.

Read your article twice or thrice before publishing. Check the formation of sentences, look for spellings and grammatical errors. Cut it short as much as possible. Avoid repetition and use of unnecessary information. Highlight important words/phrases/sentences by using different text formatting styles.

Always keep in mind the famous saying “Content is the king and Marketing is the queen”. Never copy paste content from other sites. Writing an erroneous article is better than copying. A man always learns from his mistakes. Your mistakes will always encourage you to write better and will eventually improve your writing.

I know there are a lot more things one can discuss about. Writing reflects your creativity and creativity has no limitations. If you think I missed out something important or want to add your opinions, feel free to drop in a comment. I will be glad to hear from you. Your bouquets and brickbats are always welcome.

A deleted post can be recovered from Trash. What if, the post has also been deleted form the Trash..?? A few days back, one of my posts was deleted accidently. It was an important post and writing it back was not possible as I didn’t exactly remember the content I had put. Also, the post had to be present on the blog to keep all the incoming links intact. I knew that since the post had been deleted from the Trash as well, it must not be even present in the database. Yet, I thought why not have a look at the DB once. I logged into phpMyAdmin and was able to restore the post. Now, I will tell you how I managed to get it back. Here we go. [click the images for full preview]

Log in to your phpMyAdmin. Select your WordPress database. Your db will look something like this:

Now look for “wp_posts”. In the very next column there is an icon for “browse” click this icon to browse all your posts.

Next, sort all the posts by Post Date in descending order. This can be done simply by clicking “post_date_gmt” once or twice. If you look carefully, you will find another column, “post_status”. This column displays whether a post has been published or drafted.

Now, if you scroll through the list of the posts, you will also find the post which was deleted. Its “post_status” will be “inherit”. Actually, this is the post which was saved automatically during Post Revision. And this is the post which we are going to publish. Click the edit, “Pen” icon for editing the post.

A new page will open up which looks like the image shown below. It has all the content of your post viz. title, excerpt, content, date, time, author, category, status etc. We do not require all these details. We will make changes only to: ID, post_status, post_name, guid and post_type.

First of all check the value for post_parent, it will be a numeric value. Clear the ID field and copy the post_parent value to ID.

Next, change the post status from “inherit” to “publish”.

Now, change the post name to the way it appears in URL. I use post-title in my URL. For eg. flockpost.com/twitter-might-introduce-new-feature-you-both-follow/. Here the title of my post is [Twitter Might Introduce New Feature “You Both Follow”]. Remember to remove all the symbols and replace blank spaces with a ‘-‘ sign.

Now, look for post_type, you will find it at the bottom of the page. Change it to “post” from “revision”.

Now, comes the final step. Look for “guid” this field contains link to your post / post address. It will look like: http://yourdomain.com/2995-revision-3. But we do not want this. We want the link which would link to the original post which has been deleted. This is very important to keep incoming links intact. Here, simply replace “/2995-revision-3” with “/?p=2995”, where “2995” is nothing but the post ID which we changed in step 6.

That’s it..!!! You have successfully recovered your deleted post and also all your incoming links are back in action.

If you liked the post don’t forget to share it on your Facebook profile or re-tweet it.

To oppose his detention Jassem has stopped eating and is preventing his heart medicine also since Wednesday night.

According to his lawyer Attorney Abdullah al-Ahmad “There is no evidence to base accusations on,” Ahmad said, adding that Jassem was being questioned for writings on his web site, blog and three political books he published after they were licensed by authorities.

This is not the very first incident many bloggers and journalists had been questioned and tried in Kuwait which boasts a lot on freedom of press in country. Still Jassem is protected from criticism by constitution .

Jassem is also being supported by a group of reporters demanding freedom of speech calling themselves Freedom of speech campaign group Reporters Without Border. They ask for his immediate release and for all charges against him to be dropped.

It said in a statement Wednesday that the new summons and interrogations for writings going back to 2006 made it obvious that Jassem was being hounded by the authorities.

Reporters Without Borders said, Jassem was sentenced in April to six months in prison for slander against Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser al-Mohammad al-Sabah. The court suspended the sentence pending an appeal.

This incident clearly shows that blogging has power to shake the governments. Potential of something simple can never be underrated.

Jassem has opted the way of Non Violence and Satyagrah (asking for right) as suggested by Mahatama Gandhi. When he opposed peacefully he was jailed let us see what happens to him next?

Your ego, habit of comparing yourself with others; inferiority complex, anger and fear are responsible for that insecurity and jealousy you are carrying with you. Cut this crap and be the real champ. Blogging is all about giving, providing and helping others.

What if you’d prepared a stunning new blog post with days of hard work and when published, it went unnoticed. Some fewer retweets and no comments will have unsurprisingly disappointed you. But on the other side, a competitor blog with same niche posted something similar story had earned hundreds of comments and retweets.

If this happen once, you’ll probably try to check back on your story to find out where did you lack. But if this repeats on, even if you are giving your best effort then you might get knocked off with a feeling of insecurity from that competing blog/blogger. This pessimistic feeling is close to what we call jealousy.

Jealousy is termed as a negative feeling exceptionally found in human beings. We all have this inferiority reaction with one another, especially those who are associated with us in an interpersonal relationship. We are often jealous of our colleagues, our friends or siblings for anything they have superior or higher than us socially, physically or economically.

Successful Bloggers are a community of people with a single goal of helping each other, helping their blog readers and a specific community. It would be wrong to define Successful bloggers as those who hit a million pages viewed/month or earn 5 figures from ads and affiliate marketing. These are just some of the additional benefits being given in the return of the effort.

Every successful blogger comes out as a result of the long hours spent in writing and researching on his niche and lots of mind juggling to keep rolling out the valuable content to his blog audience every day, making healthy relationships and skilled marketing strategy.

Usually, a blogger might get jealous of another blogger because of high traffic, high earning, good number of comments and a community following him. If you have a problem of inferiority, insecurity and jealousy with a blogger then you need to fight it back with positive attitude, confidence and egoless actions to overcome the power of negativity with your inner super power of positivity.

Question yourself. Who is the real culprit? Your blog content, design, audience or your less passionate but fast earning behavior or that desire to list your name as earliest it can be with famous bloggers?

No. None of the above are real culprits.

Your ego, habit of comparing yourself with others; inferiority complex, anger and fear are responsible for that insecurity and jealousy you are carrying with you.

Kill Your Ego!

Ego is a devil of all devils ready to attack your principle without any pre-warning. It will bash your brain with a thought like “I am perfect” and there you will be trapped.

There is no definition for perfection so there is no one who can claim to be perfect. The sentence I am Perfect itself sounds i-m-perfect i.e. imperfect.

Blogging is not a war of perfectionists. It is a service you are providing to your readers free of cost. Try to be perfect in your work but never claim yourself to be perfect.

Because no one is perfect, crush your ego by letting it down. Respect good bloggers, accept your mistakes and try to be perfect. The word “We” has more power than the word “I”.

………………………

Stop Comparison!

Measuring your ability with other individual or a group of people quite possibly can give birth to feeling of hostility and insecurity. However, comparing yourself with others in a positive manner might improve your performance but we are more attracted towards wrong things than right. So, the heavier is a portion of jealousy.

However, human beings are equally created in terms of physical attributes but psychologically we are incomparable. Our thoughts, belief, social activities, upbringing and way we see life differs from each other.

First rule to beat this negativity is Stop Looking at other’s capabilities. Secondly, dig your strength which is hiding under the cover of insecurity. You cannot seriously compare the ability of Pete Cashmore with Seth Godin. You can’t even compare the ability of Hayabusa with Harley.

………………………

Smash Inferiority!

Physical, mental and social limitations lead to the feeling of inferiority, just to cut this crap don’t start feeling superior but try to find a balanced way to come out of this unnecessary stress. Be confident in yourself, be in company of people who always encourage you and work towards improving yourself in best way, be it your writing, conversing or marketing skills.

Don’t underestimate your potential; don’t neglect your inner charm. Take this world as to be yours and win the hearts of your blog visitors and audiences.

………………………

Switch Off Anger!

Anger is a common emotion found in both humans and animals. We often get angry on something unacceptable to our opinions (personally, socially and politically) which is also not necessarily acceptable by others.

A blogger unable to reach his monthly goal unaccepted the fact of his failure gets angry, which might result in something destructive to his own self.

I am myself is short tempered but I found a way to kill this negative attribute by some of my own tips. I prefer a glass of water than having a cup of tea. I take a long walk or ride my bike to anywhere it can take me to cool my mind. I start playing with my nearly 2 yr old toddler to temporarily hide the feeling of failure which leads to anger but I later work on it positively.

You need to find your own way to come out of Anger.

………………………

Cut Down the Fear!

A threat of life is a biggest fear of all time. But we all are very well aware of this fact, that we cannot save ourselves from death. If we accept the cycle of life and death then we will not be afraid of anything.

What could be ours forever, if this life is not? Fear of losing something for me is just like fooling myself because I believe nothing is mine except the belief and feeling I am carrying with me right now.

We should fear for something needful, fear for what good we can’t do to others in this short time. Make fear your power to achieve heights, a ladder to reach your goal.

Facebook can’t have reached to the first position if they remained afraid of Google. Mashable can’t have reached heights if it feared Techcrunch. They would have limited themselves from starting on, by such thoughts and world wouldn’t have heard about them.

Or say it in other way, Facebook and Mashable are number 1 in their area of expertise because they are afraid of Google and techcrunch respectively, beating them down to second position some day. This fear is the strength in real sense, to save their position they keep on providing value to their readers/users better than the last day.

Jonathan Geller popularly known as Boy Genius. His three and half year old blog BGR.COM was sold for millions of dollars to Mail.com Media Corp. (MMC)

Life is something lifelong. We can’t expect to get an apple the very day we plant the seed. We have to wait keep our self calm and discharge few duties regularly like watering and fertilizing the plant. We have to have patience. Then after a period of three or three and half years only we can enjoy delicious and tasty apples. Similar is the story of Jonathan Geller popularly known as Boy Genius. And last weeks events establish him as a genius.

His three and half year old blog was sold for millions of dollars to Mail.com Media Corp. (MMC) (source here)

Geller at the tender age of 16 started developing connections in the mobile phone industry. His liaisons were strong enough to provide him information, photographs and inside stuff about some cool and hot phones a year ago before their launch. To build an online reputation Geller updated this information on online forums and gained name under the alias of Boy Genius.

His growing fame on forums attracted Ryan Block who was then one of the editors on Engadget the AOL’s blog about consumer electronics. He realized that if Boy Genius had to make reputation he needs exposure to bigger audience and Engadget could be a platform which could be beneficial for both.

After discussing his idea with Peter Rojas co-founder of Engadget, Bloc offered job to Boy Genius. Anyone running a blog is aware of the fact that in order to build credibility and to add authenticity to your blog identity of the writer should be well established. In this case Geller didn’t want to reveal his identity. Bloc had to modify many policies of the site. Geller worked under this alias until the last Monday when the deal was finalized. Till then none of his co-workers knew who the Boy Genius really is.

In October 2006 Boy genius started writing a column on Engadget with the separate entity Boy Genius Report. His efforts and originality of content brought him 1.5 million readers per month. The most amusing and interesting fact is that no one knew who was behind the mask of Boy Genius before this week or we can say before this deal

There were few attempts to unmask him like an incident of a Palm worker who was obsessive with the thought of revealing Geller’s identity. This worker tried many tactics. He used to send ominous notes about the blogger’s family and his whereabouts to his inbox in a fruitless attempt to scare him into silence.

In his childhood days Geller was inspired by a music executive named Justin Smith, who used this alias of Boy Genius, and inspiration made him adopt this alias for him but one thing is for sure that Geller made more bucks then his Idol.

Geller quotes that in initial days when he started sharing leaks of Big Brands it was nothing less then a huge blow to their reputation. But these days 70% of leaks are intentional or can be said part of promotional/marketing strategy. It is like something unlawful has been made legitimate. Things change over time. Some changes make fortunes for some people.

After the acquisition Boy Genius Report will be renamed BGR.com, will expand into a number of new areas beyond mobile phones and is looking to hire. Geller will continue to oversee editorial and business operations with the title editor in chief.

We wish Boy Genius Good Luck and Loads of Readers and Dollars.

I am sharing from my personal experiences about Blogging and How to Blog better, I learned more from my failures, lots of reading and implementations.

I believe that “Failure is a Great Source of Learning”

Ok, to the point. If you a regular visitor of this blog then you have definitely noticed the consistency of posts updates which has increased since last month of March 2010. I posted 34 articles in last month including one guest post. That means 33 articles in a month I posted all alone.

Posting consistently was a big issue since I started blogging 2 years back but now I think it is no more a problem for me because I found a solution. In this article I will show you how to post consistently on your blog to get the best results.

This can be very helpful for those who manage their blog(s) all alone. However, I am no more alone here.

………….

Focus on Your Goal

image via Shenghan

Think if you are driving without a pre decided destination, where will you finally land? Nowhere! Focus on a Goal is essential everywhere in life so in blogging too. What will you research on? what will you write? Who is going to take advantage of it and finally where it will take you and your blog? Focus and proceed to your Goal, be in your niche and post quality content.

………….

Confidence

via flickr

Self Confidence is like a thermometer that ups and downs with the fluctuating temperature so take it easy, do something to boost your confidence. I used to watch DVDs of Rocky (Balboa) Part 1-2-3 it always encourage me to fight back. Posting every day on a blog is just like a boxing with tough opponent and it need aggressiveness to hit him close and hard. That’s only possible with self confidence.

………….

Time Management

shifneez via flickr

Spend your time in doing things which are favorable and also profitable, how many times you get distracted by your twitter mentions and facebook updates while writing a blog post? Be away from all those things which distract you. 24 hrs are not less when planned and executed perfectly. Here you will need Focus and Confidence to utilize your precious time constructively. Make a dead line, be your own boss and start working in your own self made pressure or if failed, get fired yourself.

………….

Ideas

blankmediagroup via flickr

Ideas can strike anywhere, anytime. Ideas can also vanish from your mind as soon as it strikes. Grab those ideas somewhere; I catch them tightly in my notebook or in my phone whenever it arrives. Write down that killing blog post idea if it comes while watching your favorite TV show or reading newspaper immediately . Copy it later to your word document and start constructing it into a killing blog post.

………….

Latest Updates

allyjadetakesphotos via flickr

Be up-to-date with what’s going on around your blog niche world. Use Google reader, twitter, facebook and alltop to keep the track on your subject of interest. Don’t miss a single useful and even useless looking news. I experienced by my own that most of the online things which we take lightly appears as most useful. Remember Google’s boss once said “Twitter is a poor man’s email”

………….

Blog Content

image via flickr

We all have our own ways of writing a blog post. I do in my own way by making important points first, then expanding each points to paragraphs, then re-read all to cut down un necessary sentences, making it short/tight as much as I can and finally selecting relevant pictures and lastly adding a headline.

To prepare a blog post every day, I made two rules.

First, I divide my blog content into 2 categories. Research based content and latest news. While research based content includes random articles, tips, tutorials, opinions and case study, news updates are those breaking stories around social media circle.

Second, I try my best to keep few articles as backup, incase if I get stuck somewhere I still have something to publish that day. I usually write backup articles in weekends or anytime I feel like I have something in my mind ready.

Some more ways to make quality content easily

1) Split 1 post into 2: It works well when you write a lengthy article. Try to break that into two series of each. This will give you 2 ready articles in one attempt.

2) Multiple articles in one time: Say you have 3 blog post ideas, now open up three new word documents and write all points on each page with subject, one by one. When you are done, you will see you prepared structures of 3 articles in one, now you just need to expand each with details. Save all documents and start elaborating it without taking care of spelling, grammar etc. Do the rest later.

3) List: Make a big and useful list of content. Like, I did last month listing 100 most powerful women on twitter. I selected 100 women in less than 10 hrs.

I made list of 100 useful tools bloggers can use to make their personal blog look professional

These are some effective and easy ways to make good content in less time.

………….

Community Management

ntho via flickr

On Twitter your followers are your asset and in blogging it’s your blog feed subscribers and commentators . Don’t lose them; your community is one who will give you everything you want from blogging, self satisfaction, praise, friendship and business. Keep growing your online community stronger every day.

I give time to my friends and online communities as much as I can. Checking my twitter, facebook and blog comments, adding new conversation on facebook, replying to all blog comments and updating with new and informative tweets every day with consistency. One important point which I cannot afford to miss is making relations with other bloggers in your niche, post good comments on their blog, link their blogs in your post, support them and you will be in the company of professionals.

What about you? if you have any ideas or tips to share, please share it with us.

So, you’ve decided to change your personal blog into a professional blog. Wait a second…before moving further, please let me take this out of your mind that professional blogs are not only “blog about blogging” or “how to earn money from blog” etc. From professional I mean better looking, well arranged, clean and resourceful blog, it could also be a mixture of your random stories and niche articles too.

To make this easy to understand let’s take an example. If you have a personal blog where you often write random posts like what interesting happened today with you, how was your experience eating in that famous restaurant last week or if you love sharing some photographs taken by you. In the meantime you also share stories concerned with your passion for motor bikes, like writing your riding experience, latest breaking news from motor bike industry, bike reviews etc. Motor Biking can be your niche.

Your personal blog is an online diary of yours where you allow anyone who is either interested in your random stories or loves to read about your biking experience and share their thoughts. I am sure that those who are interested in your random stories are mostly your real life friends or some very close online friends but not any professionals who find your random stories interesting for them (except you have a blog like Dooce). But writing articles about your passion for motor bikes you, may be unknowingly but attracting a group of amateur or professional bikers or bike enthusiasts who loves to read about your stories on motor bikes.

My point here is that why don’t you attract more bike enthusiast to turn up to your blog for latest biking news, updates, trends, bike models, bike reviews or your personal tips and tricks about bike riding or maintenance. It is the way your blog will become a professional blog related to motor biking from a personal blog.

While posting about bikes you can still keep on writing your random stories, may be your new biking audience may like your random stories too.

So, if you want to turn your online diary into your professional notepad then from my modest knowledge on blogging and some fair knowledge on blog reviewing, I found some helpful resources for you to make your blog turn professional to personal.

Now, lets concentrate on 3 core elements of your blog which are most essential than any other area to work upon. These core elements are Blog Content – Your blog articles and posts, Blog Promotion- Your marketing, promotional strategies & ideas and Blog Navigation- How easy and attractive your blog navigation structure is.

Lastly, whatever your blog platform is, either WordPress, Blogger or Typepad, free hosted or self hosted. It doesn’t matter much. The only thing matter is how much your content is resourceful, authentic and unique to provide value to a particular group of audience.

20 Top Blog Content Tips

Write consistently

Write random articles but keep focus on that one subject which you want your blog to turn as professional from personal.

Don’t write lengthy and too short posts.

Inform your readers if you are not going to be available for few days.

Reply instantly to your blog post comments.

Ask questions to your blog audiences while writing post.

Be little controversial. Sometimes.

Be helpful by providing values to your audiences. Blogging is all about providing value.

Join the conversation and try your best to engage your audiences with lots of interesting reads

Do make comments on other’s blog. But don’t comment for the sake of comment.

Link other reputed blogs within your post.

Say you love to blog on technology but are struggling with time and content idea because you have school every day and are not able to get rid of project works and studies which are hanging heavy over your head. Getting spare time to update your blog appears impossible. Still, somehow you manage to write a blog post twice a week before going to bed. But when do you write these articles? When do you think up the subject you are to write on? And when and how will you publicize your blog post? You need more time on Facebook and Twitter to do that and this sure is gonna eat up into your precious study time which is, of course, more important than blogging. This must be making you sometimes just hate school if it does not allow you to update your blog for weeks!

Hey, here’s an idea! Why not use your school to generate both content and traffic for your blog! But make sure you do everything in a manner which ensures that your studies is first priority and blogging last, because education will help you become a successful blogger but blogging might not help you become a good student!

……….

How to Get Blog Content Idea?

School Library

How long has it been since you last visited your school library? If you are a blogger then it does not matter whether you love to write… you should be more a reading enthusiast than a writing one. Read up all those old, new or any book you can lay your hands on. It does not matter if you love Shakespeare and you blog about iphone and android technology. Even Shakespeare’s philosophies can help you with an idea of a hot blog post about technology.

Like-minded Friends

Of the many friends you interact with each day, I am sure that at least one out of 10 shares your interest in technology. Why not increase this ratio? Make more like-minded friends and improve your knowledge on latest tech updates, news and information. You can find some really good resources to make a blog post.

Expand Your Network

Don’t only make friends with those who like what you like. Make friends with everyone you can. Your classmates come first because you can interact with them more often. Then come your seniors because they are more mature than you. Then, your juniors because you can make them see your points. And lastly, make good standing with your teachers… try to talk regularly with a teacher whom you think is best to give you advice on technology and science. It could be your physics teacher or your computer science teacher. Mention their names while writing a blog post and give them credit for your work and show them your work.

……….

How to Generate Blog Traffic?

By Word of Mouth

Talk about your blog everyday to more and more people but don’t make it sound boring. Tell how it would be useful for them to read your blog post, share how you do that. And help others. Be equipped with a pen and paper to write your blog URL whenever someone asks to share.

Share Email ids

Share your email ids and take others’. Mail them at least once a week, create good relations and ask your friends to give feedback and comments on your articles.

SMS

We didn’t have mobile phones 20 years back, but now most school goers above 13 years have it. Though, most schools don’t allow phones you can still note down the numbers of your friends to contact them later. Update your friends through text messages sharing the URL of your new blog post. Inform them about the topic you wrote, all by way of SMS texts. This is another way of making blog subscribers, via sms texts. Cool ha?

……….

How to Write a Blog Post in School?

What if you get a stunning blog post idea while in school? Carry a diary or a rough book with you all the time or simply use a sheet of paper. If you have a sudden brainwave, write down a heading and put down your idea in points. Write every point you can and when you get home, copy it on a word file and expand the points into an article. Once, your main points and title of a blog post are ready, you just need to compile it. It works well for me.

Free Periods

If you have nothing meaningful to do except chatting or playing a sport you don’t like, why don’t you do something which you like? Write, write and write. That’s the one best way to utilize those free periods, thanks to that teacher who didn’t turn up today.

……….

How to Cope with Exams and Weekly Tests?

Give Up Blogging For Your Own Good

There is no exception when studies are involved. Write a post that you won’t be able to update your blog for some time so that your readers are aware of your unavailability. I am reiterating the fact that blogs are not more important than studies. You can blog whole of your life but you cannot miss out on this golden period for studies. If you are good in any particular subject then who knows, tomorrow you could be best chemistry blogger or best business management blogger. Schools are to sharpen your mind and develop your skills. Blogs are to show how much you can do it. So if blogging is interfering with your studies, give it up.

How do you manage your blog in between school work? If you have any different, sparkling and mind-blowing idea, please share with us.
