You Both Follow look and work similar like facebook mutual friends. It will show you the list of people you and another person are following. The list will appear on your twitter profile sidebar.

Kallen’s tweet said that only 10% of twitter users have this feature available, and if this proves a value providing feature then it might be available for all twitter users soon.

I find it really “in need” feature to make myself more reachable through twitter. Mutual Friends on Facebook is too much effective for a person to trust any stranger who has more mutual friends than a person with no mutual friend. It works as a trust builder and certainly create large network of mutual friends. This might work nicely on twitter too.

I don’t know how others will react on “You Both Follow” on twitter, but it shows twitter’s aim on emphasize it as a social network platform than just a media tool to share links.

Social Networking was not that complicated 5 years before. Once, there was a really good time we used to spend dressing our profile page, adding new friends, chatting and sharing pics with them. Now, it is not that fun left in social networking.

Facebook took the lead by addicting us to their superbly created User Interface, helped us in connecting with hundreds of people each day, gave us opportunity to create our own show via wall status, hooked us with plenty of games and applications.

Facebook a website serves most of the internet population of world, a website which popped up to 1^st rank in US disabling Google to be happy with 2^nd position.

Last month when Facebook Privacy Issue went viral in almost every big and small media websites and blogs, people anticipated the golden era of Facebook is reached to an untimely end.

But facebook decided to take a U turn, rather than being sticked to their privacy policy they indicated to resolve privacy issue soon again with a new, better user controlled privacy model.

Still the big portion of facebook user base is unaware of what happened in last few months. It is very common phenomenon that social networking site is for fun and to connect with others. Who cares what that particular site is gaining from user activity after all they are giving us so much free of cost.

How much we really care about Privacy on facebook? Most of the 500 million facebook users don’t care about it, majority of them even don’t know what this privacy is all about and those who know little bit they don’t want to stumble upon reading the lengthiest page on facebook i.e. its Privacy policy.

I was same like any other careless internet user, I am too lazy to read long privacy policies of websites I register, but somewhere in brain there were questions regarding internet privacy. So I tried to answer my own questions, I hope it will help you too.

What is Privacy Policy according to Wikipedia?

It is a legal document which shows what information of customer party gathers, manage or share with others.

It was first introduced by EU in 1995 as Data Protection Directive and later by Unites States Federal Trade Commission as a non-binding governing principle for the commercial use of personal information.

What is internet privacy?

What one can share or reveal about someone else on internet, is the simplest definition of Internet Privacy.

Why Privacy is important on internet?

Internet crime earns more than $105 billion per year. In United States there were 275,684 numbers of complaints of internet fraud filed during last year This all relates to what information we knowingly or unknowingly sharing with others on internet, others can be an individual or a website we choose to register.

What is Facebook Privacy?

It is a legal document of facebook where they describe in detail their terms and ways to control, manage, show or share user’s privacy or personal information to other users, third party, application developers and advertisers.

It also gives some control to user itself to control his or her privacy on facebook via Privacy Settings.

What is Cookie?

When you visit a particular website, tried to register or login in it. A web server of that site you visited will send a piece of information to your browser and it saves it. That information is nothing but a text strings, generally a username. This is called cookie. So next time when you visit that same website and tries to login, your browser will send back that ID to the server and you will be recognized by the information you added in your last visit.

Why websites share user personal information to others?

Websites sometimes or I will say most of the times share at least some information of their user to third parties like a company or organization. They need data of user information to research, plan or projects either non profit or commercial. To sale or promote product, services and offers.

This gives enough reason to not-to-ignore privacy policies and privacy settings. It is matter of your personal, very personal information.

Here is what they are going to do with their new privacy system. I compared it from what it was before and now.

Before there was 50 settings to make all your information private

Now there are less than 15 settings to do the same

Before, there were 18 different settings to control what you share with your network.

Now they introduce presets to cover all those 18 settings in one single control, which reduced to only 2 clicks to control everything which had more than 100 options.

Facebook’s Ana Yang Muller explained it in more detailed way but expect all these changes start functioning in a week time for all facebook user accounts.

Here, this time I have listed or the best way to say, I’ve tried to list down 10 outstanding, most followed, most listed and ultimate Indian/Indian origin Tweeples who are masters in Social Media, Internet Marketing and/or Technology.

This is also first time I tried to give ranking to these magnificent personalities you should follow if you are still not following them.

How I listed them as top 10?

From my very small knowledge on social media and online credibility, I tried to figure out their ranks by comparing their number of twitter followers, number of users they are following, number of times they are listed and how many times they tweeted.

The other important aspect I considered here is how these top 10 people affected their followers, how they performed with their specialties and their impact on their audiences or clients was. I tried to compare the success meter of these individual by small research I did for them outside twitter.

You may find that I did not only consider their number of followers while listing them in top 10.

I am in no way claiming my list as perfect or best. It’s upon you to decide. The only intention of mine by creating this list is to share some of my most favorite Indian Tweeples.

Prophet Mohammad was the flag bearer of Humanity, Peace and Spirituality. He was the only one who set an example of being a great saint, king, warrior, entrepreneur and a great man who always respected other religions, people and their faith.

You need to read authentic books to see what he was and what he left for the world.

Unfortunately, few of Prophet’s followers misinterpreted his teachings and few of anti-Islamic people helped these so called Islamic extremists to grow their evil power to terrorize the world.

Terrorism was always strictly condemned by Islam and in any case it cannot be justified.

I request you to shut down such groups to avoid any negative reaction online or offline. Social networking is a bridge to connect people of the world despite of their caste, race or religion. We all need peace in the world and to get that we cannot use hatred as a weapon.

I don’t need to request your support. I request you to speak the truth. Right is always Right and Wrong is always Wrong.
