Dear Mark Zuckerberg, Please Read This

Dear Mark Zuckerberg,

Muslims all over the world are not terrorists nor they support any Muslim terrorists but there are group of people who always intend to hurt Muslim’s emotions and belief.

One such example of online hatred toward Muslims and Islam is a facebook group who dare to make fun of Holy Prophet by trying to imitating their physical appearance which is not allowed in Islam.

Facebook Group of 10,000 users who hate Muslims has joined this group, just to hurt Muslims all over the world.

mohammed-day

This act can very possibly gives self proclaimed jehadis a fair reason to react, most probably another attack on innocent civilians who have nothing to do with anything like this.

Prophet Mohammad was the flag bearer of Humanity, Peace and Spirituality. He was the only one who set an example of being a great saint, king, warrior, entrepreneur and a great man who always respected other religions, people and their faith.

You need to read authentic books to see what he was and what he left for the world.

Unfortunately, few of Prophet’s followers misinterpreted his teachings and few of anti-Islamic people helped these so called Islamic extremists to grow their evil power to terrorize the world.

Terrorism was always strictly condemned by Islam and in any case it cannot be justified.

I request you to shut down such groups to avoid any negative reaction online or offline. Social networking is a bridge to connect people of the world despite of their caste, race or religion. We all need peace in the world and to get that we cannot use hatred as a weapon.

I don’t need to request your support. I request you to speak the truth. Right is always Right and Wrong is always Wrong.

Hope you will do the needful.

Did you actually see how this all started? The people who created the group were revolting against the extremists who threatened the creators of South Park. If you actually saw the episode of South Park where the prophet was drawn, the creators never insulted the Islamic prophet. In fact, they only mentioned his name.

Not being able to “draw” Muhammad is just a new phenomena that Muslims have invented; he has been drawn many times over. It just shows how you guys have been putting more wood on the fire and fitting perfectly the stereotypical Muslims.

Finally, Jesus is also a prophet of Allah, why are you guys not offended when he is depicted in mass media? Islam is not the first religion to be criticized. Unless you learn to accept that fact, you'll just start creating more people that will revolt against this religion.

nice post.. facebook should delete the contest as much as possible. From the Muslim point of view, Drawing God or His Prophets is a taboo in Muslim culture, regardless of the nature of the drawing.

Islamic teaching typically forbids depictions of its prophet. After online threats of violence last month, the US cable network Comedy Central bleeped Mohammed’s name in an episode of South Park that featured him hidden in a bear suit.

The episode itself sought to satirise the wave of Islamic outrage that greeted a Danish cartoonist’s depictions of Mohammed in 2005. In the same episode Jesus was shown watching porn and Buddha snorting cocaine.

Taking out nation is a small business now a days? Look for the bigger picture guys, please. And if you are a believers, then be a good one for your own sake. Please be inform, that i'm not trying to disrespect any of you, but if it so…than i apologizes. One piece of a snow, can turn in to a snow ball eventually can create an avalanche. Son s believe what his parent told them or in a way. What am i saying…..It's just the faith of the mankind, faith of the living days. And how stupid of me saying all this which I know that these can not be stopped guys…..it will be a dispute, it will be a killing eventually, world war III with no perfect reason or a perfect reason of believing a lay if a might add. . I just hope that it will not going to happen at our time.

In fact, no body in this world can really draw Prophet Mohammad (Peace be Upon Him).

I agree with your points. Though every thing we do is all depend upon our intentions. Positive or negative. This is just a small example of negative intention of hypocrites who claim themselves as noble.

Dear Zaheer,
See the marmara ship incident (or not), Prove of what i'm trying to say….It will never stop. My intention is to shout out for people to think back upon their religions and make the most of it (in order to make world peace). You see, for you and me, the prayer is the ultimate weapon, So, there will be the time when we are strong enough to keep the world in peace. The indication is when mosque is always full during the subuh pray and not just during jum'aah (friday). Are we event near to that situation??? Are you? I'm not trying to be noble nor hypocrites, simply saying of what I've read in the holy Qur'an. Kulya ayuhal kaafiruun…..I really hope you understand of what i'm talking about (see the marmara ship), so start praying?

Zaheer (zazo) June 1, 2010 at 7:43 am

I understood and agreed too :) We will keep praying and that's our ultimate weapon.
