Facebook is most visited website in the world. Who said this? The close rival Google announced after releasing the list of top 1000 websites of the world.
With stunning 540 million unique visitors in the month of April, facebook has received 570 billion pageviews in that same month. That means nearly 35% of web traffic reached Facebook.com.
Yahoo is #2 in the list with 490 million unique visitors and 70 billion page views. Google a search engine giant also ranks websites on the basis of unique visitors didn’t include his own statistics in the list nor its video sharing social network youtube.com
However, Google’s blogger.com secured 7th and orkut.com in 45th position from the list of 1k websites all over the world.
Indian investment portal in.com is in 501st in list.
Other big websites live.com on 3rd and Wikipedia.org is 4th most visited websites.
I am sure if Google listed data statistics of google.com and youtube.com it could be on top 3.
