A few days back BumpTop, a 3D desktop for PC and Mac developer company, announced that BumpTop was being discontinued and that they were taking the software “…in an exciting new direction…”. And two days later it announced that the company had been acquired by the search giant Google. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
