A few days back, WordPress3.0 was launched, everyone was excited to check out this newer version with a lot of new features. Soon after the launch many people upgraded and some of them had to suffer as well. Especially, thesis users had issues with the “Custom File Editor”.

Soon after the launch of final release of WordPress 3.0, dashboards of all the WordPress users have come up with the “WordPress 3.0 is available! Please update now.” But to be on safer side it also suggests you to keep a backup of your existing data.

A few days back, one of my posts was deleted accidently. It was an important post and writing it back was not possible as I didn’t exactly remember the content I had put. Also, the post had to be present on the blog to keep all the incoming links intact. I knew that since the post had been deleted from the Trash as well, it must not be even present in the database. Yet, I thought why not have a look at the DB once.
