Cricket is the favorite sport of almost every Indian but Youtube catered the passion of fans outside India. 40% of viewer ship that is about 20 million viewers were watching the streaming on Youtube from countries other than India. Youtube paid less than 10 million dollars for Internet rights. Seven sponsors paid about a million dollars to Youtube.

The official Youtube Blog has announced the new “As seen on” feature for video pages. This feature surfaces the videos popular elsewhere on a blog or site which is responsible for driving a significant amount of a video’s views, that site will be credited on the page.
