Finally, the wait is over..!!! WordPress has announced the launch of Version 3.0,  ”Thelonious”. The beta version was released a few months back and the final edition is now available for download. You can also upgrade your current blog from your dashboard. Many exciting features have been introduced in the version including a new default theme called Twenty Ten.

The best feature which would be very useful to people who run more than one blog is the merging of MU and WordPress. Now you can run as many blogs as you wish from a single installation. Also, the default random password which was generated after every installation has been replaced with the custom password field.

To test the above feature you will need to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Add the lines define (‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true ) ; to it. This will enable the Network menuwhich can be under the Tools menu
